SENSOR – MONITORING – SYSTEMS
Dr. E. Horn GmbH & Co KG is a leading, high-performance manufacturer of sensors, displays and safety systems, especially for monitoring medium and large engines and drive systems. We are the experts for the safety of large 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines, whether these engines are used on a ship or for power supply on land or in other industrial applications.
Due to the intelligent measurement technology, individually designed according to your requirements, our measurement systems protect your system from failures and guarantee highest safety and plant availability under rough and difficult environmental conditions. Furthermore, we inform you in time about necessary maintenance work. We are your contact person, if the failure of your system can lead to high material or immaterial damages.

Speed sensor – RPM pick-ups
The speed sensor series FGL01620 has been developed for very flexible use:
Extremely low speed -near full stop- can be detected as well as highspeed rotations up to 20kHz frequency.
This wide range allows the FGL01620 type to be applied in multiple applications:
Industrial turbines, heavy industry gearbox units, windpower generators and large-scale eninges.
The robust stainless steel design makes the FGL01620 a preferred sensor in offshore and marine purposes.
The sensor detects ferromagnetic materials such as gear wheels and can handle modules of 1 to 6.
